Join NeighborWorks on January 16 at 10:00 AM for an educational presentation on the Transtheoretical Stages of Change and how aligning tools, language and expectations with an individual’s readiness can lead to safer homes and better outcomes.
This session will explore why individuals resist change, how to use the CDC’s STEADI Checklist and how to match interventions to readiness in order to turn resistance into engagement. This event is designed for occupational therapy practitioners, CAPS professionals, caregivers, case managers and home modification specialists.
The presentation will be held at the NeighborWorks Lower Level Learning Center at 815 Smith Street, Scranton, PA, 18504.
